Oklahoma and Colorado governors announced results of CNG initiative

Since the start of the project one year ago, Mary Fallin and John Hickenlooper have petitioned other states and governors, met with automobile manufacturers in Detroit, and issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) soliciting bids for more affordable natural gas vehicles for use in state fleets. After receiving the support of 20 other states (13 other governors signed on to the bipartisan effort while seven more joined the RFP), they announced the preliminary results of the initiative yesterday.
